HEREFORD United will equal a post-war record for consecutive away wins with victory at Burton Albion tonight (7.45).

The 1945/46 side recorded six wins on the bounce but that remains a side issue for manager Graham Turner who is more concerned about three points.

Fourth-placed Bulls visit Eton Park with five away wins already tucked under their belts including an impressive 2-0 victory at Leigh RMI in midweek.

It was a display that delighted Turner for several reasons.

"It was an excellent performance --when Leigh had the ball we pressed them hard and in turn when we were in possession we had plenty of movement and created opportunities.

"If we win tonight it will put pressure on those around us and what I have always said is that to have any

chance you have to beat the sides that are struggling.

"That's what we did against Leigh who are always difficult to play against and have had some reasonable results but we managed to pick up three points with a very professional approach."

Burton are still seeking their first home win of the season but after holding leaders runaway Yeovil Town to a draw in mid-week will go into the match in optimistic frame of mind.

The Brewers Christian Moore struck right at the death to deny The Glovers after Abdoulai Demba had put them in front.

Turner's chief worry is that Clough's team could upset the apple cart by recording their first home win of the season.

"The biggest danger is that they have not won at home yet and that is bound to end sometime and could be against us," said Turner.

Captain Ian Wright will have a late fitness test after missing the last two games with a hamstring strain but Turner said it was touch and go whether he would make it.

FORMCAST: Can't back against the Bulls - 2-1 to Turner's boys.
