AN internationally acclaimed male voice choir will be singing out in support of terminally ill county children on September 28.

Welsh choir, Morriston Orpheus, will be in concert at Worcester Cathedral to raise money for the Acorns Three Counties Appeal to build a new hospice for children in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

The choir has received rapturous reviews from around the globe. Previous audiences have included the Queen, the Pope and several heads of state.

The choir will be supported by guest soprano Susan Black from Malvern who has sang with top UK orchestras and choirs, including The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The English Symphony Orchestra and the Band of the Grenadier Guards.

The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8, £10 and £12 and are available by sending a cheque payable to Acorns Children's Hospice Trust with a stamped addressed envelope to Acorns Children's Hospice Trust, 350 Bath Road, Worcester. A name, phone number and the number of tickets required should be stated.
