AN AUTHOR who regularly visits Herefordshire has based his latest book in a 'mysterious' fictional village near Kington.
Duncan Fallowell's 'A History of Facelifting' is set in the heart of deepest England centring on a strange woman who arrives in a mysterious village in the middle of the night.
Described as an outrageous rural fantasy featuring extraordinary people and vivid landscapes at first sight the novel appears to be a thriller, but twists and turns into something wholly unexpected.
Mr Fallowell is a regular visitor to the county and wrote his first book in Hay-on-Wye in 1972 - A Biography of April Ashley.
A History of Facelifting is available in the shops at £11.99.
