Hereford has a presence in the new Welsh Assembly cabinet.
He is Andrew Davies, the Labour member for Swansea West, who attended Hereford Cathedral School and St Paul's primary, Tupsley, where his father, Wallace Davies, was head for many years.
Andrew was given the key Economic Development portfolio when appointments to the nine-member Assembly cabinet were announced last week.
