A BLIND man and his partially sighted friend are back in the saddle again after their stolen tandem was found following an appeal in The Hereford Times.
Desolation over the theft of the bike from outside the Golden Galleon Fish Bar on May 3 turned to elation a week later when Steven Ttophi and Ajmal Ahmed from Eign Road, Hereford were told the bike had been found.
The call came into Hereford Police just hours after the HT hit the streets.
Steven, who takes the front seat on the bike, said: "The bike is our only way of getting around.
"We go everywhere on it, to the shops, out in to the countryside. We are really pleased to have it back."
