ANDY Burton (Lyonshall) and John Roberts (Colwyn Bay) are still in with a chance of the KUMHO National Rally Championship after contesting the Roush Manx National Rally at the weekend.
Beset by problems throughout the two-day blast over closed roads on the island, the pair could only manage 23rd overall after steering and suspension dramas on their Peugeot.
However, due to a number of finishers ahead of them not being registered for championship points, they still managed to score and are now just three points behind new leader David Mann with four rallies to go.
The duo return to their favoured forests of Wales next, when they will tackle the Mutiny Rally on May 31, based in Llandrindod Wells.
