HEADY tales of heroism and discovery, danger and espionage will be unearthed as pupils at Lady Hawkins' High School reveal the secrets of their founder's past.
Students and history teachers Nic Dinsdale and Katy Davies will launch their book detailing the adventures of the husband of the school's foundress, Sir John Hawkins.
During the launch youngsters will unravel a tale of the forgotten privateer with an evening of reading, book signings and refreshments at the school beginning at 7pm on May 21.
