HEREFORDSHIRE tour professional David Park produced a sparkling closing round of 69 in the Benson and Hedges International at the De Vere Belfry to finish in a share of seventh position with a three-under-par total of 285 (72, 70, 74, 69).
In difficult cold and windy conditions, the Celtic Manor-based Park struck the ball beautifully to pick up a useful £29,239 prize which lifted him to 34th place in the Volvo Order of Merit.
Today he joins the world number one Tiger Woods in a high-class field contesting the Deutsche Bank-SAP Tournament Players Championship of Europe at Gut Kaden, Hamburg.
