PRESENTATION DAY -- On Sunday the football club held their annual presentation day on the recreation field. The day started with a treasure hunt around the village. Some 30 adults and children took part and the winner was Pauline Teague with a score of 23 out of a possible 24. This was followed by a football match between the under-14s and a parents' team with the boys running out comfortable winners. The trophies were presented by Hereford United's Tony James and the winners were: under-11s - top goal scorer, Joe Pritchard, most improved player, Jamie Adams, players' player, Dale Preece and manager's player, James Bourdon Pierre. Under-14s - manager's and players' player, Matthew Hooper, supporters' player, Ollie Morgan, reserve team, players' player, Tom Hughes, manager's player, Tony Evans. First team - young player, Ralph Wilson, players' player, Richie Roberts, manager's player and top goal scorer, Lee Higgins. The clubman of the year award went to Dave Cartwright. This was the third time that this family-type format has been used for the presentation and it proved to be a success once again with everyone enjoying their day out.
