HEREFORDSHIRE welcomed 14 young people from Northern Ireland during the Easter holidays, as part of a Community Youth Service cultural exchange programme.
A group from around Herefordshire visited Belfast last year, where they learnt about the life, people and hospitality of Northern Ireland.
Young people from the two groups had maintained contact with each other by text messaging after the Hereford to Belfast trip, and a joyful reunion marked the Belfast group's arrival at a residential centre near Kington.
On the final day of the programme, the exchange participants met with the Mayor of Hereford at a lunch, prepared and served by the young people of Hinton Community Cafe.
