THE new household waste site at Ross-on-Wye, with its full range of recycling facilities, is proving to be a tremendous success, according to Herefordshire Council.
But its success has led to a few problems at peak times and people have had to queue to enter. Herefordshire Council is appealing to people to make the most of the extended opening times and stagger their arrivals.
The opening hours for the Ross-on-Wye site are 8am to 6pm Thursday and Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on a Sunday, all year round.
