A seminar and buffet lunch to discuss the draft strategic plan for the Newent Initiative takes place in the Memorial Hall, on June 19. Groups invited will include Gloucestershire County Council and Forest of Dean planners. Mayor Fred Passant said: "There will be a presentation concerning what we have done so far and we'll get workshops going to help develop the vision we see for Newent."
