Hereford-based boxer Darren 'Dazzo' Williams has set his sights on a British Featherweight title fight later this year with new champion Roy Rutherford.
The 29-year-old, from Newton Farm, beat Rugeley's Steve Chinnock on points in an action-packed title eliminator at Everton Park Sports Centre on Saturday.
The referee gave Williams the victory by just one point, 96-95, although ring-side experts thought that the Hereford boxer had the better of five rounds.
Williams floored Chinnock with a body shot at the end of the sixth round, but Williams, himself, took a standing eight-count in round seven.
