THE Leominster Lions are staging a wildlife safari to raise money for the Acorns Children's Hospice Appeal and the Queenswood Coronation Fund.
Jungle trekkers at Queenswood, Dinmore Hill on Sunday, May 25, (10.30am to 4pm) are to stake out those Lions hiding in the trees and bushes as they follow the Queenswood trails.
The organisers are promising fun and activities for all the family.
Lions spokeswoman Maureen Compton said participants were asked to wear sensible shoes and clothing depending on the weather. "Please consider sun protection in hot weather," she added. ''All children must be accompanied by an adult.''
The event costs £1 a head in aid of the good causes.
