ONE of the most famous of all Welsh male voice choirs, the Morriston Orpheus, will sing in Hereford Shirehall on Saturday, May 31.
Organised by Hereford Lions Club for the Acorns Children's Hospice Appeal it is certain to be a sell out. Such is the demand for the Morriston that it is several years since the choir last performed in Hereford and on that occasion in filled the cathedral.
One of the great traditions of male voice concerts is the 'afterglow' when, over a drink, the audience joins the choir in a singalong of some of their favourites and this will form an integral part of the evening's entertainment.
Tickets are available from The Outback in Church Street.
