AT their April meeting of the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship, as the speaker who was scheduled to come was unable to make it, Phillip Barbary stepped into the breach and gave a fascinating account of shopping etc. as it used to be. This prompted a lively discussion about all the shops and businesses that had disappeared in Hereford since the war and the many other changes which are still taking place.
