Herefordshire Freemasons have sponsored the publication of Age Concern Hereford's A to Z handbook (A Guide to Services and Benefits available to Older People). This donation of £1,000 will enable Age Concern Hereford to produce the first 1,000 copies, which will be distributed to pensioner clubs, day centres, village halls, GP surgeries and parishes. Robin Broad, the chief officer of Age Concern Hereford, said: "It is often difficult for older people, especially those living in rural areas, to access services and facilities available to them and this book should make it much easier to obtain beneficial advice, information and help." Age Concern Hereford would like to thank Herefordshire Freemasons for their support in sponsoring their handbook.
