A COUNTY vicar who joined the church after a career in the BBC has died at the age of 69 at St Michael's Hospice.
David Enoch served the congregation of six parishes around Sellack for 10 years concentrating much of his energy on the sick and the dying.
He became a lay preacher at Much Dewchurch after working most of his life at the BBC, where he produced educational programmes for Welsh schools.
He then went on to take on the Sellack group of churches where he quickly established a reputation for giving excellent sermons.
A Welsh speaker he also studied Hebrew and Greek and was a keen singer. In 2000 he set up the Pax Choir which sang at his funeral on May 7.
Rev Enoch who died on April 22 is survived by two children, two grandchildren and his wife Mary.
