IF you go down to the woods on May 28 you'll be in for a big surprise because the Hereford Leisure Centre GymTots will be enjoying their first Queenswood Teddy Bears Picnic!
The energetic youngsters will first work up an appetite with some specially designed exercises, set in the beautiful wooded surrounds, before tucking into a tasty picnic.
The gym and picnic session at the Queenswood Arboretum is part of the Country Park's Golden Jubilee celebrations and is for children from 18 months to six years of age.
The activities, which run from 11am to 12.30pm, cost £5.50 per child.
The fee includes a picnic and a small donation to the Queenswood Coronation Fund.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer who is responsible for their safety.
Places for the gym session and picnic must be booked in advance through the Herefordshire Leisure Centre on 01432 278 178.
If the weather is bad the session will be relocated to Hereford Leisure Centre. Parents are advised to call the centre in the morning to confirm the location.
