BRINGSTY'S Live and Let Live pub does not have a definite opening date yet, its owners have admitted.
The pub was bought by Alan and Sue Clarke last year and the couple vowed to re-open it after previous owner, Shirley Gregory, threatened to convert the 250-year-old building into a house.
Mr and Mrs Clarke have run into difficulties repairing the listed building and are unable to say when it will re-open its doors.
"The pub needs a lot of work but everything we want to do needs planning permission because it's listed," said Mrs Clarke. "It's impossible to say when we can open."
