Colwall Players presented their last production, Memory of Water by Sheila Stevenson, last week. Those taking part in this moving play were Angela Meredith, Sue Jago, Dianne Lloyd, Anna Byers, Andrew Howie and Jim Howden. The play was directed by Lee Farley.

At the village hall last Sunday, there was a service of thanksgiving to celebrate the first year of the Healing and Wholeness Ministry in Colwall. The service was taken by Bishop Michael Hooper and included drama and sacred dance and was based around the Garments of Gethsemane, which were made by Rev Peter Privett. These garments have already been used in services across the diocese.

On Sunday, Caves Folly and Long Acre gardens will be open to the public. The entry for each is £2.

The Flower Guild of St James the Great is holding a plant sale and coffee morning at Colwall Village Hall tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am-12.30pm. There will be cakes, bric-a-brac, produce, tombola, raffle. Entrance is £1 to include a cup of coffee.

A rogation service will be held at St James Church on Sunday at 10.15am when there will be a short walk between each stopping place with readings and prayers.
