ST MARY'S - Evensong at St. Mary's Church on Sunday is at 6.30pm. Holy Communion is on Tuesday is at 10.30am. Choir practice is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, at 7.30pm in the church.

Dilwyn School - A reminder has gone out to all ticket holders for the school pantomime, Aladdin. Performances will be in the Cedar Hall at 7pm tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday).

Young Farmers Club - Annual Christmas Whist Drive in the Cedar Hall on Wednesday, December 10, at 7.45pm. Thanks go to those who supported the Christmas Bingo session, £130 was raised for charity.

Parish Council - Parish Clerk Sue Rowe has requested she be advised of any items for discussion one week in advance of meetings held every 3rd Tuesday. The Dilwynner parish magazine, run by volunteers, has been awarded a grant of £300 by the parish council in recognition of its excellent service.

Dilwyn Playgroup - A Christmas Fayre is being held on Saturday at 2.30pm in the Cedar Hall.

Dilwyn Gallery - The Old Forge, will be re-opening its doors on Saturday rom 10-12 noon for a Traidcraft Fayre of Christmas items.

Wild Life Watch - Together with watch leader Norma Forrest and Karen and Adrian Hoare, the children's DWLW Group visited Credenhill Park Wood They spent an exciting morning identifying fungi guided by Sheila Spence from the Herefordshire Fungus Group. The children are fast becoming experts on fungi, as they previously had spent a similar morning from John Davies at Croft Ambrey earlier in the year.
