MARTIN Orbach of Shepherds Ice Cream in Hay-on-Wye was delighted twice over to learn that Abergavenny Food Festival had been voted 'Greatest Event in Wales'. As founder and Festival Director he is thrilled the festival has been recognised with such a prestigious award. "It's a real honour to receive this," said Martin. "It reflects the quality of food and drink being produced and presented in the area."
As one of several Herefordshire exhibitors he is proud to have been part of an event which this year saw 20,000 visitors sample some of the best food and drink from more than 80 specialist food producers from Wales and the borders.
