THE Bromyard and District Local History Society is hosting a talk on Harry Ferguson, the inventor of the 'Little Grey Fergie', on Friday December 12 at the Methodist Hall, New Road, Bromyard starting at 7.30pm. The speaker will be the respected Ferguson expert George Field. One of the first public demonstrations of a Ferguson tractor, the Ferguson/Brown Type A, took place at Dormington Court in May 1936. If anyone has any pictures or information in connection with this early demonstration that the history society might be able to use, can they please contact chairman Alex Hoyle on 01885 400788 during the day time.
