DOES one of your club members deserve to have his or her efforts recognised on a wider scale?
If so Herefordshire Sports Council would like to hear more as they seek nominations for the annual sports personality awards to be presented in February next year.
The Sports Council, which marks 25 years of supporting sport in the county this month, will be presenting the awards for the 24th time as they were not instituted until the council's second year.
There are nine awards to be won, ranging from individuals at senior and junior level through teams and clubs to coaches and those who have contributed to sport in a supportive role.
Nominations must be made on the official nomination forms which are available from Bryan White, the secretary of the Herefordshire Sports Council, at 27 Tower Road, Hereford HR4 0LF, phone 01432 356757. Nomination forms must be returned by December 19.
