HEREFORDSHIRE rugby player Guy Thompson has been selected for the Midlands Schools' 18-Group squad after trials for the January 1 side.
Thompson, a blindside flanker, will play against Midlands Clubs' 18-Group at Bromsgrove on January 25.
Two other Herefordshire boys, George Thomas and Daniel Lewis, will take part in the Schools' 16-Group final trials on Sunday.
