Ledbury Town manager Paul Wilband still believes that the West Midlands Premier Division title is still within his side's grasp as players return from injury and suspension.

Ninth-placed Ledbury are some 17 points adrift of table-toppers Malvern Town, who they defeated 2-1 away recently, but have five games in hand.

Town manager Paul Wilband said: "I really think we have a good outside chance of the league title. We have now got a very strong squad with players vying for places in every position.

"I have also put seven days notice on a couple of players and if I manage to get one of them I will be very happy."

Tomorrow (Saturday) Ledbury are away to Brierley & Hagley (2.45), on December 20, Ledbury are at home to Bustleholme and on December 27 Ledbury are away to local rivals Bromyard Town (2.45).

The Town side will be almost back to full strength this weekend with the return of Phil Preedy and Towan Ravenscroft although they will still be without captain Stu Hall until the Bromyard game.

Ledbury have been drawn away to Ross United in the semi-finals of the HFA Senior Cup. The winners to play either Ewyas Harold or Kington Town at Edgar Street on Easter Monday.

In the Worcester Infirmary Cup, Ledbury are at home to Worcester City Reserves and will be trying to organise this fixture for a midweek date.

Ledbury Town's West Midlands Premier Division match at home to Wolverhampton United last Saturday was postponed on Friday night when the visitors rang to say they could not raise a side.
