THE new owners of the Live and Let Live pub in Whitbourne have praised the support they have from locals since their arrival.
Martin Long and Jayne Stock took over the 16th Century pub 11 weeks ago, after the previous owners went back to Wales.
Mr Long, who recently moved to the area from Swindon, said: "We both have a lot of experience in the catering trade, but have dreamed of owning a pub together since we were first courting.
"Trade has been absolutely fantastic, the local people have made us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic Christmas here and would like to thank all of our regulars."
The couple now plan to organise monthly live entertainment evenings at the venue, featuring local musicians. Malvern solo artist, Clive John and local group The Whisky Bandits have already recently performed at the pub.
