Hereford United 4 Quorn 0
AFTER a goalless first half, United's youngsters came to life to register a comfortable Midland Floodlit Youth League victory over Leicestershire visitors Quorn.
Few chances were created as the defences dominated the early exchanges but a change of tactics after the break saw United shorten their passes and keep the ball on the ground.
Paul Collins opened the scoring with an excellent right-foot volley from the edge of the area, and Chris Mortlock extended the lead with a looping header from a Lewis Jones cross.
United were well on top and completed a deserved victory when Andrew Williams turned his defender to fire home and then skipper Paul Brown converted a penalty after Collins was bundled over in the box.
