EASTNOR Cricket Club annual pub/club knockout has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 12, 11am start, after play was suspended due to bad weather last week.

All matches previously played will stand.

In Group A, LTFC got off to a good start with two good wins. Against the Super Furies, Ashley Jones retired on 26 in a 58 run total and Cliff Tipton snatched two wickets. An easy victory over the UFO B saw Lee Clueit claim two wickets in his over and Dan Herbert hit 13 runs to pass the low total of 29.

The Super Furies also lost to the Preserves side despite 15 runs from Adam Reynolds and 20 from Joel Skyers. John Taylor and Mike Cole taking their side home.

EMF also beat the UFO B, despite giving away 28 runs in wides, as R Davies (25) and Watkins (14) passed the 58-run total.

In Group B Worcester Dominies have won both their matches to date. Chasing a modest 38 against the UFO A, James (15) and Price (20) took just two overs to complete victory.

The Brewery were the next opponents who were dismissed for 30 runs, Price taking two wickets. Lewis (23) saw his side home.

Another low scoring game saw Tom Locke (17) steer the Young Ones to victory chasing the 38 from the Dads and Lads side, where James Febery scored 16.
