SIMON TRAVIS (3): (defender, 22-3-1977, 5'10", 8/1) Signed just before the transfer deadline last season on his release from Stevenage, Travis proved an excellent addition to the squad with the capability of playing in either full-back berth or further forward. A non-league international, Travis began his career with Torquay United before moving forward on to Stockport County and then going non-league with Telford and Forest Green. As a Bristol University geography graduate he should have less trouble than most in finding his way to some of United's more distant opponents.
