GRAHAM Hyde is hoping to impress Hereford United boss Graham Turner and earn a contract.
The former Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham and Bristol Rovers midfielder has been training with the Bulls.
Turner meanwhile admits talks have been dragging as he seeks to bring in a 'keeper to replace Matt Baker who signed for Wrexham.
However, he hopes to make a breakthrough in negotiations later in the week.
"We're still talking at the moment but I would hope things will be concluded by the end of the week because things have been going on a for a bit of time now," said Turner.
