BOWLED over by the success of this year's Skittle Marathon, organiser Gordon McLeod created a poster to celebrate the impressive total raised by the event.
Featuring a pair of ailing skittles, the poster accompanied the hand-over of £7,100 to Fran Winterbourn, of Acorns Children's Hospice.
Skittlers from around the county joined the Pyoneers team from the Plough in Canon Pyon, Gordon's local, for the fundraising marathon at the Richmond Club in April.
This year's result takes the total raised for the Gordon McLeod Leukaemia Fund to more than £130,000 in 21 years.
