A WELL-resourced and well-organised south Herefordshire pre-school is providing good care for children, according to Ofsted inspectors.
Ewyas Harold Pre-School was praised for the staff's positive attitudes and good supervision of the youngsters who are well supported in their play.
The Ofsted report revealed that good procedures are in place to keep children safe and good hygiene routines are also practised.
The staff, of whom 80% are qualified to NVQ standard level two or three, also have good procedures in place to identify and support youngsters with special needs.
The report said that staff have high expectations of good behaviour and this is reflected in the good behaviour of the children.
It stated: "Partnership with parents is good. Staff liaise with parents on a daily basis and provide half-termly meetings when staff and parents can look at children's records and discuss their children's progress."
