ME To You, a yacht which has Ledbury's Sasha Peake in its crew, has successfully completed the second leg of the Global Challenge race.
The yacht arrived in Wellington in New Zealand on Tuesday.
It lies in sixth place in the round-the-world race but is within an hour of yachts in fourth and fifth.
Racers left Buenos Aires on November 28 and have completed a gruelling passage across the Southern Ocean.
The next leg is the 1,250 miles to Sydney in Australia, departing on February 6 and yachts are not expected to be back in Portsmouth until July.
