Money raised from a year of community events was presented to Acorns Hospice yesterday (Thursday).
The Bromyard Ladies group handed a cheque for £1,400 to a hospice representative during their monthly meeting at the Falcon Hotel.
The group, which chooses a different charity to support each year, organised events including a bingo night and a garden party.
Secretary June Bouston said: "We're very pleased with the amount raised. We've been going for about 30 years now and have supported most of the charities in the Bromyard area."
This year, the group will be raising funds for Arthritis Care, Riding for the Disabled, and an Alzheimer's charity.
The group has around 20 members and holds meetings at the Falcon Hotel at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of every month.
