Schools in Colwall will be alerted to the problem of speeding traffic after a survey showed drivers travelling too fast past Colwall Primary School.
The parish council is sending warning letters to the primary school, along with The Downs and The Elms, after discussing the results of the Herefordshire Council survey at a meeting last week.
The survey showed 85 per cent of drivers were travelling at 38mph or below.
The expected average for a 30mph zone would be 34mph.
