CHAPEL SERVICE - Glebe Chapel was packed in the run up to Christmas for a Carols by Candlelight Service with about 170 people who enjoyed a varied programme of carols and musical presentations from different age groups linked to the chapel and a talk from guest speaker, Martin Erwin of Hereford.
A group of young teenagers called Believe, all carrying a candle, sang while the Hawken family contributed an instrumental selection of carols on their stringed instruments. Another interesting contribution was a performance by the Glebe Youth Group. After the service many stayed for coffee and mince pies.
