THE Queen Elizabeth HS, Bromyard, U13s girls' football squad went to Minster School on Friday to play in the Herefordshire six-a-side outdoor competition.
They played in a round robin and beat Haywood 2-1, Minster 6-0 and Lady Hawkins 3-0. They qualified for the final where they met Haywood and managed to win 1-0.
All the girls played well throughout the tournament and goal scorers were Grace Rogers, Natasha Merris, Justine Tomkinson and Charley Lloyd.
The squad comprised Grace Rogers, Natasha Merris, Justine Tomkinson, Charley Lloyd, Casey Lewis (captain), Sally Price, Beth Godsall and Michaela Jones.
They now go on to play in the South West finals in Bristol.
