COLWALL Darby and Joan Club will be holding a bring and buy tomorrow (Saturday, March 12) from 10.30am-12.30pm in Chevenham lounge. Entrance 50p, including coffee.
The annual village spring clean is also tomorrow from 9.30am-11.30am concluding with coffee in the Crown. Volunteers are asked to assemble on the station approach, where bags and grabbers will be available. You are advised to wear warm clothes.
The annual general meeting and coffee morning for St James Church flower rota will be held at Glebe House tomorrow at 10.15am. New members will be welcome. Anyone wishing to donate a lily to the church in memory of a loved one this Easter can contact Pinkie Elliston on (01531) 633514.
A Lent lunch will be held in the Ale House on Thursday, March 17, noon-2pm in aid of the Mothers' Union Relief Fund.
