AT the last General Election only a third of young people aged 18-25 bothered to vote.
I would like to urge everyone, particularly young people like myself to exercise their democratic right. Many may be away at university, thus I would urge every young person, irrespective of their own political beliefs, to consider using a postal vote.
The last date for return of completed postal votes to the council is April 26 and the Electoral Commission has launched a new website which is www.aboutmyvote.com where you can apply online for a postal vote.
Go democracy!
