Bringsty Sports 2 Colwall Rangers 1
TWO first-half goals from Luke Johnston set Bringsty on their way to victory in the Hereford Times Hereford League Jock Handley Junior Cup final at allpay.park.
The villagers dominated the early phases of play and it was no surprise when Johnston got on the end of a Wayne Tizzard corner to open the scoring after 10 minutes.
Fifteen minutes later, an identical set-piece move initiated by Tizzard brought Johnston his second goal.
After the interval, Colwall, despite having a player sent off, had more of the play but Bringsty defended strongly and only conceded a consolation goal from the penalty spot in the last minute.
Bringsty will now be aiming for a double celebration as they require just four points from their remaining three games to carry off the Hereford Times Hereford-shire League Division 1 title.
