THE return leg at Brierley saw Ledbury start brightly with Robbie Colwell opening the scoring, only to see the hosts equalise just before half-time through Lee Lough.

On 76 minutes, substitute Richard Punt, with almost his first touch of the ball, sent Nathan Haisley in behind the back four and he squared to Robbie Colwell. His bullet strike from 18-yards gave the home keeper no chance.

With five minutes remaining, Stuart Hall made the game safe with a superbly struck free-kick.

LEDBURY'S league cup semi-final heroics in mid-week took their toll in a game in which they never got going on Saturday.

Preparation for the match was inhibited by Ledbury arriving only 15 minutes before kick-off and then putting in a very lethargic and lacklustre performance.

Pelsall took the lead on 35 minutes with a well-struck shot from Dave Hayles.

The hosts doubled their lead soon after the interval when working the ball through a sleepy Ledbury defence for Andy Jones to finish.

Ledbury's day was typified when they were awarded a penalty with ten minutes remaining only for prolific marksman Robbie Colwell to blaze over the bar.

Ledbury Town face an in-form Bustleholme at New Street tomorrow (Saturday), kick-off 2.45pm.

On Tuesday (May 3) evening, Ledbury Town welcome Coseley Town (7.45) to New Street and then they play their last league match of the season at Market Drayton Town (2.45) next Saturday (May 7).
