BROTHER and sister Tim Clarke and Sally-Anne Bliss of Hereford Couriers carried off the men's and women's titles at the Hereford County Championships held in conjunction with the Hereford Leisure Centre 10-mile run last Sunday.
Clarke also won the Dave Preece Memorial Cup for the first local runner home while Hereford Couriers won both men's and women's team titles.
RESULTS - Hereford Leisure Centre 10-mile, Men: 1 Richard Gardiner (Cardiff AC) 51 min 55 sec, 2 Barry Reynolds (Bristol & West AC) 55.13, 3 Tim Clarke (Hereford Couriers) 60.35, 4 Kevin Burke (Stourbridge) 61.45, 5 David Williams (HC) 62.52, 6 Richie Richards (HC) 63.35.
Women: 1 Sally-Anne Bliss (Hereford Couriers) 71.37; 2 Jayne Littlewood (HC) 77.15, 3 Justine Henson (Telford AC) 78.31, 4 Wendy Breakwell (Ludlow RR) 85.59, 5 Sarah Swaysland (Road Runners Club) 86.57, 6 Nicola Edwards (HC) 88.46.
