FLIGHTS of Fancy by local bookbinder Adam Watson is on show at Hereford Courtyard until July 30.
Occasionally getting bored with the rectangle, Adam's imagination has taken flight with a series of books which seem almost to be alive.
While staying within the realms of decency (just), his work is on the one hand playful but on the other almost sinister.
Using methods which have remained unchanged for a millennium, and materials such as wood, paper and leather, Adam's work encourages imagination to run riot.
