THREE South Wye community projects are looking to the future, thanks to funding from the Ministry of Justice.

Putson Community Association, South Wye Women’s Project and those putting together the Belmont Rural Parish Plan will benefit from online discussion project LocalEyes to make decisions about factors affecting them.

“We’re inviting people to engage in their community,” said project manager Nick Sherwood.

The Putson Community Association project involves the idea for a new community building off Hoarwithy Road. Ideas are sought for what services or activities should be provided there.

The South Wye Women’s Project focuses on what services women old and young throughout the South Wye area would like to see provided.

And the Belmont Rural Parish Plan aims to involve residents in updating the plan across themes such as the environment, leisure and communications.
