BORDERS residents are already being urged to put two dates in next year's calendar ahead of the digital switchover.
Householders in the Hay-on-Wye and Mid Wales region will need a digital reciever to view BBC2 and extra digital channels from March 1 before all remaining analogue channels switch to digital on March 31.
Between these dates Freeview, BT Vision and Top-up TV customers will have to switch between digital and anaolgue channels to view the full range.
Radio and satellite services will not be affected.
