Village Hall – The village hall AGM will be on Thursday, January 29. The committee is comprised of four officers and four co-opted members. Anyone wishing to offer services to this very important village facility is asked to obtain a nomination form from Mrs Bray at Almeley Post Office, and then find someone to nominate them. The committee is currently looking into improving the energy efficiency of the building. It is also about to instigate an energy audit, before looking into ways of improving the hall. BELLS INN – Another valuable asset to the village is the Bells Inn, which is situated at the heart of the community. Wassailers from near and far have gathered at the inn, before participating in the ancient tradition. More than 300 people were involved in this event, and as a result of the warm welcome they received, they plan to return next year for the celebrations. On Saturday, January 31, Jason and his family will be hosting the popular village breakfast. This starts at 9.30am and runs until 11.30am. Vegetarian and full English breakfasts are served. Come along and enjoy a good meal and pleasant company. The inn serves traditional meals during the week, with special concessions for over-60s on Tuesdays. Booking is advisable.

YOGA – Yoga classes in Almeley Village Hall are held on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm, and on Thursday mornings from 10am to 11.30am.
