Elements at heart of work WATER, earth and fire are the influences of the three well-established local artists exhibiting at Galanthus’ first exhibition of 2009 entitled Deep Water Mystery Forest.
Sue Maud’s new paintings and prints reflect the way that landscapes and seascapes are changing in the face of global warming, while Peter Horrocks uses natural earth pigments to create his sensual abstracts which are inspired by natural forms, stones and rock formations.
Daniel Boyle’s functional ceramics also have tangible, earthy, qualities.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, January 17, until Tuesday, March 3.
Galanthus Gallery & Café is in Wormbridge on A465, eight miles from Hereford. The gallery and café are open 10am to 4.30pm, four days a week (closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).
