HEREFORDSHIRE Primary Care Trust(PCT) has invited bidders to tender for the new walk-in health centre planned to open next summer.
The facility will be open from 8am until 8pm seven days a week, providing access to services from GPs and practice nurses.
The public will be able to use the new centre, whether they register there or not.
The location for the centre is still to be finalised but a contract for the services is expected to be in place by the end of the year.
The new service, which will be in addition to the existing general practices in the county, will focus on reducing attendances at the A&E department at Hereford County Hospital.
